Chris Krause takes home the ICMA People's Choice 2009 Entertainer of the Year

Just a few weeks ago Chris was recognized by his peers and fans , taking home one of the top honors at the Illinois Country Music Associations , 20th Annual People's Choice Awards.. Chris thanked his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and God , for getting him through a rough year and blessing him with cool venues to play and many friendly fans that come out faithfully. Chris and his girlfriend Tammy are members of First Baptist Church of Maryville in Illinois where their pastor Fred Winters was shot to death on March 8th while delivering his sermon. Chris assured the audience that regardless of their circumstances , God is in control and capable of pulling you through any storm and that God is doing great things at their church , bringing good from a really bad situation. Check out a couple of the first tracks fresh out of the studio that will be included on Chris's follow up to No Pain, No Gain.We hope you enjoy them as well audiences at live shows have recently.God's Whisper's is very commercial country sounding, but might God willing cross over to gospel radio as well. Who Needs an Enemy is a testament to why it's better sometimes to leave the bottle alone.

Chris' peers and fans in the Illinois Country Music Association named him New Male Vocalist 2007 . The awards show took place on June 24th . Krause also took home the ICMA People's Choice Award 2007 for Songwriter of the Year - Gospel. He sends his thanks to God, to whom he attributes his talent, and to you for taking interest in the gifts God's given him.
